During his lengthy career, Alan’s experiences are many, as are his accolades. Alan has performed as a Radio and Club DJ, Host, Announcer, Master of Ceremonies, On-Air Personality, Narrator, Auctioneer, Script Writer & Editor, and Voice Over Artist. Alan has hosted Beauty Pageants, Charity Events and Fund Raisers, and has announced live sporting events that include SuperBike and Motocross Racing, Auto Racing, Football, Baseball, Power Boat Racing, Cart Racing and more. Having started his entertainment career back in the 70’s, Alan was known for his smooth professional voice in armed forces radio. Once he made the transition back to civilian life, Alan once again became an On-Air Personality for the Christian radio station KJ103 in Houston, becoming known for live remotes that were shared with such stations as KSBJ. Additionally, Alan has solo produced radio ads, having scripted, cut, edited, and performed the voice-overs, and has appeared in television commercials for such companies as Chuck Wagon Dog Food and 7Up. In 2005 Alan hosted the live simulcast of the famed “Thunder on the Gulf” Powerboat races in Alabama. During this time in Alabama Alan also hosted racing events, and hosted charity events to raise money for hurricane victims throughout the Gulf Coast region. Other charity work includes event and fund raiser hosting for the Leukemia Society, Boys and Girls Country, Empower Your Future, and Texas Children’s Hospital. From casual to complex subject matter, Alan has proven his versatility again and again through every imaginable form of voice work, ranging from high energy commercial ads and auctions, to subtle narrations. Alan’s ability to perform in live event situations, with or without the use of a script, is nothing short of phenomenal, and can hardly be appreciated if not heard in person. Additional Professional Information In addition to his obvious talents and accolades within the entertainment industry, Alan is an accomplished author and freelance writer of short stories, blogs, web content, scripts, news articles, business plans, marketing & promotional materials, and technical publications. Alan is currently writing a book that promotes motorcycling within the family environment. In his latest book, Alan helps families understand the use motorcycling and its concepts to teach respect and responsibility to children, as well as its use as a bonding tool for family through recreation. Alan’s other skills as a writer have been sought to compose Business Plans, Marketing Materials, and Sponsorship packages for Car & Motorcycle race teams that have been dubbed “The Best in Racing”. Alan’s diverse career background also includes a plethora of titles within the I.T., Health & Fitness, and Multilevel Marketing industries. Among the brightest of these successes are his own companies that include North Houston Technical Consulting (a network consulting business supporting oil industry clients like Shell and Newfield), RPM Racing (a nationally sanctioned Motorcycle Roadracing club in the South Central Region), and American Roof Company (a roofing company founded in the wake of the devastating hurricane season of 2004 that destroyed the Gulf Coast states). While in Alabama and Florida helping hurricane victims recover from the destruction, Alan volunteered his time to host charity events and fund raisers that supported the victims of hurricanes Ivan and Katrina. Hobbies & Past Times Being a workaholic usually means that time for recreation is non-existent. But through the right form of recreation, even Alan can utilize his extreme work ethic to enjoy his hobbies. As a motorcyclist and racer, Alan dug deep as a young man to become a winning Motocross rider, eventually refocusing on the challenges that Motorcycle Roadracing presented. Racing until the age of 45, Alan grabbed his share of victories including a final Championship on a Suzuki GSXR750 just prior to retiring from racing in 2003. Alan won this final Championship while successfully managing his race club of over 700 riders, making podium appearances in every race he entered in 2001 and 2002. Alan still loves to ride motorcycles, and is taking online training courses in web site design. And of course, Alan still enjoys and seeks work within the entertainment industry.
